With most events calling it quits by the end of the day, it’s time to refill the tank, grab a burger, and head out on the strip while huge crowds line the sidewalks to check it all out well into the night. With credentials in hand after checking into the Convention Center, it’s a short hop over to the “Inlet,” which serves as the epicenter for the weekend’s festivities. Accommodating up to 1,500 of the region’s coolest muscle cars, classic trucks, hot rods, and classics, it’s easy to go into sensory overload thanks to all the blinding chrome and candy coatings shimmering under the sun. Thanks to all the exciting mini events happening across the strip throughout the weekend, the parking turns over regularly, giving everyone a chance to stop in and visit.

The town of Ocean City has a trailer parking ordinance which prohibits trailer parking on city streets from May 1st – October 31st. Any Endless Summer Cruisin participants that will be parking a trailer on city streets will need a trailer parking permit. Trailer parking permits are $50 and can be purchased at the event or in advance by mailing in a permit application. Only registered Endless Summer Cruisin participants may purchase a trailer permit.

A popular event as part of Cruisin Ocean City is always the special Boardwalk Parades which will take Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 27th street to the Inlet. Parades are scheduled to begin at 8am but sometimes start a little early if traffic gets backed up. With 4 days of perfect fall weather and a record number of vehicles Endless Summer Crusin 2023 was one for the books! Lots of car shows took place at the Beachside Inlet and OC Covention Center as well as various satelite shows at businesses around town!
These items include things related to window tint, noise, wheel camber, registration, insurance, and other similar. Unrestrained (without seat belts) passengers are not allowed to ride in pickup truck beds (or similar). Taking the stage during Endless Summer Cruisin will be The Greatest Piano Men, a Broadway style show celebrating the world’s greatest pianist and showmen-from Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles to Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Liberace and Billy Joel! Leno currently produces and is host of the CNBC prime time series Jay Leno's Garage, now in its seventh season. Leno's new show, which debuted in October 2015, explores the world of cars. Being held in conjuntion with Endless Summer Cruisin was the 42nd Annual Hot Rod & Custom Car Show indoors at the OC Convention.

Cruisin’ Ocean City attracts car owners and enthusiasts from all over the East Coast and originates from the Inlet Parking Lot and Convention Center. Cruisin’ Ocean City is a weekend of piston-pumping action that includes over 3000 unique rides, a multitude of car shows all around town, national vendors offering the latest products and services, live music by big-name musicians, and lots of burnt rubber.
The epicenter of the event will be the Inlet Parking lot with activities at the OC Convention Center on 40th Street as well as businesses around town. At the convention center there will be vendors both inside and outside selling automotive merchandise along with arts and crafts, jewelry, T-shirts and many other specialty items. Also taking place inside the OC Convention Center there will be a two-day Car Corral, Thursday & Friday and a three-day Swap Meet Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Be sure to check out the Artwork Contender Showcase, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, where you can vote for your favorite vehicle to be on future artwork and the Starsky and Hutch Show car will be on display. Event organizers issue a special thank you to The Dough Roller, Ocean Downs Casino, Worcester County and the Ocean City HMRA for sponsoring the drive-in. While the movie is free to enjoy make sure to pay for parking on Friday night at the designated kiosks. During Cruisin Ocean City the town will be designated as a Special Event Zone.
Parades begin at 8am leaving 27th street and cruising south along the boardwalk to the Inlet. Significant traffic congestion and alternate traffic patterns are anticipated throughout the weekend. All motorists are advised to plan their drives accordingly to ensure they arrive at their destinations safely and on time. Residents and visitors alike are reminded to tap the brakes as they cruise along Coastal Highway, as the resort town will be designated a Special Event Zone to reduce established speed limits from May 16-19. Parades are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., but may start earlier if traffic gets backed up, according to the event's official website.

Taking the stage during Cruisin Ocean City, direct from Las Vegas, will be the Legends in Concert This show features the world’s greatest tribute artists with tributes to Dolly Parton, Aretha Franklin and The Blues BrothersTM. There will be two shows at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center, one Thursday, May 19 and one Friday May 20 with show times at 8 p.m.
